I am Daniela Nuñez, a Certified Medical Aesthetician, and an honors graduate of Humber College’s Esthetician/Spa Management program. I have had the privilege to work with very knowledgeable beauty experts and mentors that have inspired me through these past few years to become the professional Aesthetician that I am today. After all this time I am finally accomplishing my biggest dream, owning my Medical Spa, Munay Aesthetics.
It has always been important the meaning, I put into everything I do in life because it inspires me and motivates me to achieve my goals. That is why I want to share with you a bit more of the background of Munay Aesthetics.
As a Peruvian immigrant, my roots and culture have always been a big part of my identity. This takes me back to when I was just a little girl, living in Peru with my single mother, where she would sustain us by selling skincare and make-up products. I could not help but admire the the natural beauty that we all have inside us and I realized that is hard sometimes for us to embrace it as well, that is when I started feeling inside me the urge to help everybody and anybody to improve their appearance embracing their natural beauty!
It was after a long journey that I can thankfully, with the grace of God make this big step in my personal and professional life. Munay Aesthetics has my heart and all my dreams in it. Perhaps, Munay comes from my native language called Quechua which represents a state of consciousness where love, desire, and power are united. They symbolize the creator’s love for creation, the love for nature, and the love for oneself and our neighbors.
Munay Aesthetics by Daniela N.’s main goal is to help people of any race, gender, age, and especially any social status to achieve great results with their beauty goals. But also, to help develop the self-confidence that sometimes we never had, or we lost it through our journey in life for different circumstances.
